Travel Directions to Tahsis

Tahsis is accessible by Sea, Land, and Air.

• Tahsis is readily accessible via road. From Nanaimo, take HWY-19 (120km) (Island Highway) north to Campbell River. From Campbell River, take HWY-28 southwest (176km) to Gold River. From Gold River, head north on Head Bay Road (64km) to Tahsis.



• Charter flights are available from Gold River to Tahsis, via Air Nootka, starting at $325.28 (tax incl).



• From Gold River, the MV Uchuck III has regularly scheduled passenger vessel runs to Tahsis, starting at $30/person. Don't forget your camera on this scenic trip!



• Pacific Coastal Airlines provides scheduled flights from Vancouver International Airport (CYVR) to Campbell River (CYBL), which is appoximately 240km east of Tahsis. Connecting flights can be arranged from Campbell River to Gold River.



• BC Ferries has regularly scheduled service running between Vancouver Island and the Lower Mainland. Check BCFerries.com for current schedule and route information.
